Our school attaches great importance to the construction of teaching staff, deeply implements the strategy of strengthening the school with talents, focuses on the construction of high-level talents and innovative teams, takes the cultivation of teachers' innovative ability and technical skills as the core, adheres to the simultaneous introduction and promotion, and continuously innovates the talent management system and mechanism, so as to realize the steady growth in the number of teaching staff and the optimization and upgrading in quality. There are 299 faculty members, 258 full-time teachers, 7 full-time senior titles, 72 sub-senior titles, 143 intermediate titles, and 102 master's degree or above, including 4 doctors. Our school has 1 national excellent teacher and 5 national famous teachers in petroleum and chemical education and teaching. It also boasts 1 national vocational education teacher teaching innovation team, 1 national excellent teaching team of petroleum and chemical education, 1 Shanghai higher vocational education skill master studio, 3 municipal famous teacher studios and 4 district famous teacher studios. Our school has been selected as the double-qualified teacher training base for vocational education (chemical technology) in Shanghai, and it is the only Sino-German chemical vocational training base in China. Our school has 2 national technical experts in petroleum and chemical industry, 1 Shanghai skilled expert and 6 Jinshan skilled experts, and has won the third prize for guiding students to participate in the national vocational college skills competition, the bronze medal in the second national skills competition in Shanghai, the fifth prize in the national industry and information technology, and the second and third prizes in the design, manufacture and application of spacecraft parts in the national vocational college-popular science satellite development project invitational competition. The school has a talent pool of part-time teachers from enterprises. At present, there are 106 part-time teachers from enterprises, including 12 special part-time teachers at the municipal level and 94 at the school level. Part-time teachers from enterprises are composed of experts with practical production experience, engineers and technicians, skilled craftsmen and other technical personnel, who actively participate in teaching research, specialty and curriculum construction, development of teaching materials and teaching resources, skills inheritance, technical research and other work to jointly promote school education and teaching reform and improve the quality of personnel training.
