Shanghai Modern Chemical Industry Vocational College is a new-style public higher vocational school in Shanghai, which features engineering and develops other subjects in a coordinated way. The predecessor of the school is Shanghai Petrochemical Academy established in 1978. In 2022, Jinshan District took Shanghai Petrochemical Academy as the cornerstone, integrated high-quality vocational education resources in the district, and innovatively established Shanghai Modern Chemical Industry Vocational College.
